The Queens school has fully regained supremacy in the metropolitan area.3. Bergtraum, NY (27-2)
Epiphanny Prince's high school career is over but will never be forgotten.
The Rutgers-bound senior finished up with four PSAL championships and two State Federation titles under her belt.
4. Bloomfield Tech, NJ (31-3)
Two of the three losses suffered by the Lady Spartans came at the hands of No. 2 Shabazz. Coach Mike Davidson should never hang his though. His teams have won three straight Group 3 state titles and the program has earned lots of deserved respect from the state of NJ.
5. St. Michael's, NY (23-4)
The Lady Eagles had their season ended by No. 1 CK in the NY State Catholic finals.
6. St. Peter's, Staten Island (25-3)
It took 18 long years, but coach Bob Daggett finally won a Federation title.
The Lady Eagles put on a clinic against Pittsford-Sutherland in Glens Falls, NY. From start to finish they demonstrated unselfish team basketball in a 71-46 rout in the Class A finals.
Junior Megan Mahoney is a model of consistency on the court and in the finals she led the way with 18 points and eight rebounds.
7. Trinity Catholic, CT (26-1)
The Lady Crusaders are Connecticut's Class S champs.
8. Francis Lewis, NY (23-5)
Only two teams in NY state have more wins than the Lady Patriots over the last three years: CK and Bergtraum.
9. Morris Catholic, NJ (29-2)
The Morris County school is the Parochial B champ.
10. St. Thomas Aquinas, NY (26-2)
Rutgers-bound Judith Brittany Ray's 32 points led her team to their first ever State Federation Title in a 62-52 Class B win over South Jefferson in Glens Falls. Ray's career is complete with over 2,000 points scored is over for the best team on Long Island.
